Introducing Reckoner, a post-hardcore five piece & one of the the most exciting acts to recently emerge from the Midlands alternative music scene. Making an immediate impact with strong single releases & an explosive live show, Reckoner has already been tipped for great success. Likened to bands such as Underoath, Norma Jean & Every Time I Die, the group notably take strong influence from their love of cinematic sound score & sound design; a prominent feature throughout their repertoire. The band’s live show is a blend of high energy & atmospheric mesmerism resulting in a highly dramatic stage show, fuelled with emotive expression. Reckoner has already appeared at festivals such as Mangata, Badlands & The Rock & Blues playing alongside the likes of Heart Of A Coward & Raging Speedhorn. Their first headline show in Leicester was quick to sell out, with a receptive crowd eager to belt out every word. The band’s first three single releases were all well received, landing numerous plays on Twitch streams, playlists & airtime on BBC Radio 1 with their single ‘Artificial Living’.
